These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Advanced BG Remover website, applications, and API (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload images you do not own or have permission to use.
- Process unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content, including sexual content involving minors or non-consensual imagery.
- Violate the privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights of others.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Resell or redistribute the Service in a way that competes with us without written permission.
We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of this section.
3. Your content and copyright
You retain all ownership rights to the images you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your images solely to provide the background-removal result to you. You represent that you hold the necessary rights to each image you submit and that its processing does not infringe any third party's copyright or other rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us and we will respond appropriately.
4. Plans, billing, and refunds
The Service offers a free tier with daily limits and paid Pro plans billed monthly or yearly, as described on our Pricing page. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Because the Service delivers digital results immediately, fees are generally non-refundable. However, if you experience a billing error or a persistent technical failure that prevents you from using a paid feature, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will review your request for a refund or credit in good faith, consistent with applicable consumer-protection law.
5. API usage
API access is provided under the plan you select and is subject to rate limits, quotas, and authentication requirements. You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure and for all requests made with them. We may throttle, suspend, or revoke API access to protect the stability and security of the Service. Excessive or abusive usage may result in additional charges or termination.
6. Service limitations
The Service uses automated AI models and may not produce perfect results for every image. Output quality can vary with image complexity, lighting, edges, and subject matter. We may impose file-size limits (for example, 20 MB per image), supported-format restrictions (PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP), and usage caps. Features may change, and we may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or updates.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, models, design, logos, and content (excluding your uploaded images), is owned by Advanced BG Remover and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. See our Disclaimer for more detail.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Advanced BG Remover shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
